Lake Tahoe Weather For Boaters

The following images contain the latest observations from the U.S. Weather Service Office in Reno (courtesy Webmaster Ray Collins). Check the U.S. Weather Service in Reno if you need more current information. These graphics are not intended to replace the detailed information found at the US Weather service, but to give boaters a quick way of finding out weather conditions at Pyramid Lake during the time period they are likely to be boating there.

Wind speeds shown are in nautical miles per hour (knots). One nautical mile per hour is equal to 1.15 statute miles per hour. Wave heights listed are in feet and are an average of the largest 1/3 of waves to be expected on the lake.

The graphics show conditions for 11 AM, 2 PM and 5 PM. The "sun" graphic gives the relative time of day.
